This is my wife's first visit to Yerevan and our first stay at the Capital Hotel. We are okay with this hotel when considering the price/value. The location is very good! The view from the room was good. Recommend.

Pictures here are misleading. They must be old photos from when the hotel was still new. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Staff are unprofessional: asleep on the couch during late night and inattentive when it’s daytime. Our bathroom smelled of sewage and they didn’t even have a shower curtain. The water splashes everywhere and there’s no bath mat provided. We actually just spent 10hrs in this hotel as it was our last day. But it was the most annoying 10hrs spent in Yerevan. I don’t recommend this place! Don’t be fooled by it’s 3star claim.

We got transferred to Capital Hotel by JR hostel since they were full and had overbooked us. Situated close to Marshal Bagramyan metro station in a quiet neighborhood, this hotel has a small pool and big comfortable rooms. We stayed in a quadruple room and although the rooms were much bigger and better furnished as compared to JR hostel, the warmth and hospitality of Capital hotel staff was lesser in comparison (probably because we were paying JR hostel prices for a superior higher priced room in Capital). Our complimentary breakfast was in JR's house and hence we cannot make a comment on the Capital hotel breakfast. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are big by hotel standards, the housekeeping standards are very good and altogether you are sure to congratulate yourself for choosing a good property in the price range .

As I said, beautiful hotel with helpful service. The rooms were clean, big, and neat, as were all the hallways and corridors. I had a few issues that required the coordination of the hotel staff, and they went above and beyond in their service. It really met my needs almost perfectly. My only complaint was the kitchen and dining room area on the top floor, which always smelled of cigarettes.

I spent one week there with group of 30 people. The rooms are small for 3 persons, but the personel is very nice. In dining room great traditional food was served everyday. There is also conference room upstairs with nice view on the city & Ararat mountain. Suitable place for big groups & trainings.
